Support Your Local Club.
It's important to support your local radio club, mine is the
Poole Amateur Radio Society, sited at St Aldhelm's church hall Parkstone, and
meets every Thursday 19:30 - 22.30 hours. It runs very successfully with monthly lectures and some home brew radio
building evenings, including tea and natter nights. We have a lively membership
with diverse interests in many aspects of our hobby and others. We are
committed to the furtherment of the hobby, and encourage operating on both VHF
and HF using the club station G4PRS on Thursday nights. Since lockdown we now
run a weekly Zoom meeting which anybody in the hobby community is welcome to
attend, the link is as follows and is chaired by Tex Swan, G1TEX.
